AARON ROSEN

Experience

Aaron has nearly 20 years of professional experience on large-scale new construction projects, including design review of architectural drawings and specifications, subcontractor shop drawing submittals, structural calculations, thermal modeling, laboratory mock-up testing, quality assurance observations, and quality control testing. He is well versed in factors affecting appearance, performance, and fabrication limitations of high-performance architectural glass.

 

Aaron also specializes in forensic investigations for water penetration, air leakage, condensation, structural failure, and movement related issues for various building material types and exterior wall systems. He has prepared reports, repair drawings, and technical specifications as well as expert witness testimony for building envelope related issues. Additionally, he has performed pre-purchase condition assessments for a variety of exterior wall systems and building occupancy types.

 

Prior to RosenBEC, Aaron worked as a Technical Services Manager for a leading fabricator of high-performance architectural glass as well as an Architectural Engineering Consultant for a highly respected nationwide building enclosure consulting firm.  In these roles, he has worked on monumental buildings throughout North America, as well as internationally.  In his leisure time, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, volunteering in the community, traveling, and playing golf.
